The Society has purchased a solar scope for use by members. It is a Lunt 50. In addition to the scope we have an alt-azimuth mount (Vixen Porta), a Lunt solar zoom eyepiece, and a TeleVue Sol Searcher (finder).
Members are welcome to book the scope for use. Normally these will be for one month, from meeting to meeting, though members can arrange alternative times to pass on the equipment.
